V mesecu oktobru, 5.10.2017 je na Biotehniškem centru Naklo potekala zaključna konferenca mednarodnega projekta Vertical Plant Life oz. Vertikalne ozelenitve.
Program konference je obsegal predstavitev projekta in njegovih rezultatov na področju izobraževanja in usposabljanja za vzdrževanje in izgradnjo zelenih sten, ključne govorce, predstavnike podjetij ter praktično predstavitev notranje in zunanje zelene stene v Biotehniškem centru Naklo. Strokovnjaki so svoja mnenja združili v diskusiji, odgovarjali na vprašanja in približali pomen zelene infrastrukture na okrogli mizi konference.

Konferenca je združila različne profile udeležencev: mednarodne strokovnjake s področja zelene arhitekture, naše in tuje podjetnike za izgradnjo in vzdrževanje zelenih sten, predstavnike Nacionalne agencije CMEPIUS, arhitekte in druge.
Na konferenci Vertical Plant Life / Vertikalne ozelenitve so bili predstavljeni rezultati 2-letnega dela strokovnjakov iz Biotehniškega centra Naklo (SI), Univerze Greenwich (VB), podjetja Humko d.o.o.(SI), Terre MBO (NL) in Hadlow College-a (VB).

On 5th of October 2017 Biotechnical Centre Naklo organized the Final Conference of the international project VERTICAL PLANT LIFE
The programme of the conference included the presentation of the project and its results in the field of education and training for the process of the maintaining and building of living walls, key-speakers, representatives from enterprises and on-the-spot presentation of interior and exterior living walls at Biotechnical Centre Naklo. The experts presented and commented their opinions in an organized discussion, answered the questions and made the importance of green infrastructure in the form of round table discussion.

The conference brought together different profiles of experts: international experts from the area of green architecture, Slovene and foreign companies in the area of living walls, representative of the national Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes, architects and others.
The participants of the conference had the opportunity to meet, discuss the experiences and to establish new contacts.
The Vertical Plant Life conference presented 2-years common work of the experts from Biotechnical Centre Naklo (SI), University of Greenwich (GB), Humko d.o.o. (SI), Terra MBO (NL) and Hadlow College (GB).
